Kathleen (Catherine) Johnstone (nee Breen) was born in Clydebank, Scotland on June 16, 1938 and died in Sechelt Hospital on November 13, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 59 years to Jim, mother to Bill (Penny), Alastair (Jennifer) and Ewan. She was extremely proud of her six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Alastair. An adventurous lady who accompanied Jim as his career took him to several different countries. They immigrated to Canada in 1969 and retired to the Sunshine Coast in 2006. An avid reader who enjoyed knitting, quilting and her social bridge games. She was a patriotic Canadian and proud Scot. She loved life and her extended family. A family service and burial was held in Gibsons.
