Jan was born in Prince George on November 7, 1943 and passed away on her birthday at the age of 79, one year and four days after her husband of 57 years, Bob. She grew up and attended school in White Rock. Being newly married she moved to Gibsons in 1964 to start a family. After raising sons she entered the workforce through the School District and the joined the Gibsons Health Unit for many years. She loved and was loved by her neighbourhood of North Fletcher where she resided for 51 years. She enjoyed walks at Bonniebrook, watching the grandkids' hockey games and dance shows, and traveling to Palm Springs in the winters. Survived and remembered by sons Garnet and Scott, daughter-in-law Nicole, grandkids Wyatt and Tess and extended family.
