Obituary: Chad W. Wiseman

'Chad left Gibsons a boy in 1988 and returned home to the coast a great man in 2016. He joined the military and served as a commando, airborne, seaman, submariner, warfare director and teacher. He retired in 2011 and immediately retrained as a paramedic. For the nearly 30 years he was away, he was a volunteer fireman, and thrived serving his community.'

Loved by so many from coast to coast and around the world.  Chad was larger than life.

Chad left Gibsons a boy in 1988 and returned home to the coast a great man in 2016. He joined the military and served as a commando, airborne, seaman, submariner, warfare director and teacher. He retired in 2011 and immediately retrained as a paramedic. For the nearly 30 years he was away, he was a volunteer fireman, and thrived serving his community.

Upon his return to Gibsons in 2016, he was immediately diagnosed with AML, and again fought a hard war to the very end.

Chad we are all so blessed to have been a chapter in the amazing story that was your life.

Preceded in death by father Stan. Survived by wife Lori, mother Barb, sister Roxanne, daughters Victoria and Courtney, spouses, grandchildren, extended family and a thousand more that call you friend. You are in our hearts, always.
