Lilo and Erwin ran the community store and post office for a number of years until they moved to Prince George in 1962, where Erwin began a career with Coop Stores. After several years there she accepted a position as Administrative Assistant to the Hospital Administrator at St. Mary's Hospital.  She was promoted to the Personnel Director position and served as secretary to the Board before retiring at the age of 60.
