Are you interested in learning the safest and most productive methods of preserving your home harvest?

Christine Chandler will lead a hands-on workshop in freezing and other methods of preserving that will have you enjoying your summer harvest all year long. All materials are supplied, but please bring your favourite kitchen knife and a notebook. The workshop runs from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16 in the Sparling Pavilion, at the Botanical Garden at 5941 Mason Road in Sechelt.

The fee is $12 for botanical garden members, $15 for non-members.
