The Egmont Community Club (ECC) is organizing a work party at Klein Lake Campground (site 10 starting at 10 a.m.) this Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3.
Refreshments will be served when the work is done (and you know they make good food!)
The Food Bank is open every second Monday from noon to 12:30 p.m. with the next day this Monday, May 4.
Drop-in sports are held Monday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at Pender Harbour Secondary School. For a small $3 fee enjoy basketball, volleyball, badminton and more!
The ukulele group meets Tuesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Harbour Learning Centre. All ages are welcome to join this free group and learn to play and have a great time doing so.
Join the Harbourside Friendship group at the Community Hall on Thursday, May 7 when they will be remembering Dawn McKim, a long-time member with stories and songs.

The ECC has just purchased some fantastic modern (plug in your IPod and go!) exercise equipment for use by the general public. They have a new stair-climber, elliptical trainer and treadmill set up and waiting at the Community Hall. Fees are $2 drop-in or $5/week and access is by request.
