Come one, come all to the first annual Halfmoon Bay Business and Entrepreneur Show! Everyone is welcome to come and see the array and diversity of our business community. There will be a wide array of vendors including, caterers, crafters, realtors, landscapers and so much more. Come and pick up brochures and business cards, see demos, try samples and do some Christmas shopping. This Saturday, Oct. 24, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Halfmoon Bay Community School Gym.
Drop in and play pickleball, the fastest growing sport in North America. Pickleball is Wednesday evenings at the Halfmoon Bay Community School gym, Northwood Road. Plan to arrive by 7 p.m. for registration. Equipment (racquets and balls) is provided. Cost is $3 per session. There are three courts, one dedicated to beginners with instruction provided. The other two follow the level play format set out by the Sunshine Coast Pickleball Association.
