There will be many delicious homemade goodies available at the bake, craft and plant sale hosted by the Halfmoon Bay branch of Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary next Saturday, May 9 at Trail Bay Mall in Sechelt.
There will be lots of gifts for Mothers Day shopping. Be sure to stop by between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to support our auxiliary and check out the great buys.
Any acts or bands that may want to be considered for the Centre Stage at the Halfmoon Bay Country Fair or anyone wanting to join in the fun and would like to volunteer please contact me at [email protected]. The Fair is July 11 and 12.
Drop in and play pickleball, the fastest growing sport in North America.
Pickleball is Wednesday evenings at the Halfmoon Bay Elementary School gym.
Plan to arrive by 7 p.m. for registration. Dress appropriately (runners and work out gear). All other equipment (racquets and balls) are provided. Cost is $3 per session. There are three courts, one dedicated to beginners with instruction provided, the other two follow the ‘level play’ format set out by the Sunshine Coast Pickleball Association.
