Spring must be on its way as we have another busy week in the Creek.

Solaris is at the Roberts Creek Legion with DJs Aerion, Stimz and Phyrfly, starting at 9 p.m.

Saturday, March 25 at the Gumboot Café, come see some radical dudes from Vancouver, The Insecurity Cameras; everyone’s favourite bad uncle, Bill Gruff; and featuring a DJ set straight outta Elphi. This is an all ages event at 7 p.m. Bring your sister, your brother or your kids. Fun for the whole family for only $5 per ticket, available at the door.

CODA meets on Monday 7:30 p.m. at the Roberts Creek Hall (use side entrance). Co-Dependents Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. For more information, call 604-885-3276.

At the Roberts Creek Hall Tuesdays and Wednesdays is Perogies Galore from noon to 6 p.m. Thursdays is Curry in the Creek also noon to 6 p.m. And on Thursdays from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. enjoy fun energizing fitness dance classes hosted by instructor Kelly Marits. Something completely new is at the Masonic Hall from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays: lasagne like you have never tasted. Made with fresh vegetables, fresh ground beef and ground pork with homemade bolognese sauce, bechamel sauce and pasta, the finished product is packed in a foil container and labelled. Come to a roaming open mic spoken word event with musical jam interludes and comedy improv hosted by the Artbarn and talented friends, this Thursday, March 30 at 9 p.m. at Roberts Creek Legion. Contact [email protected].

Coming April 1 at the Gumboot Café is the Slim Milkie Band. Doors open at 7 p.m.; show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets at the door for $10.
