The folks at the Library are participating in Slow Sundays in the Creek and therefore are open from noon until 2 p.m. with great books for you to borrow. Their selections are wide and varied and include Annie Proulx’s new book, Barkskins. There is up to date kids fiction and non-fiction. New memberships are available, just bring ID and a love of reading.
Coming Aug. 20 is the Creek Daze book sale that book lovers and collectors look forward to every year. The library will open at 9 a.m. and the sale goes until 2 p.m. offering a great selection of fiction, non-fiction and kids books. No early birds, please.
