This Saturday, July 23 in the Creek, steam along with Three O’Clock Train and Ford Madox Ford. Chip Kinman of seminal California punk act the Dils and alt-country godfathers comes to the Creek. Montreal based Three O’Clock Train have churned out alternative country music since the ‘80s and ‘90s.

They will be joined by local lads the Daggers R.C. (Jeff Doron, Joe DeLeo, Kelly Backs and Jamie Swann) with Billy Gruff starting this fantastic evening at the Hall! Doors open at 8 p.m. and bands are up at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the door or purchase at: share-there.com.

Slow Sundays in the Creek continues to fill the village with good vibrations and groovy sounds. Under the maple tree, join Qigong at 10 a.m., or relax with knitting at Unwind Knit and Fibre Lounge. In “Bookmark Park” behind the library, the market and buskers start at 11 a.m., with featured concerts from 2 to 3:30 p.m. This week features Dave and Sasha, with great original songs. Slow Sundays continue until mid September.

At the hall on Wednesdays, drop in to the Farmgate market from 3 to 6 p.m. Curry in the Creek is also Thursdays at the hall from 3 to 6 p.m.
