The Roberts Creek branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary (formerly St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary) is holding its eighth annual Spring Extravaganza this Sunday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thrift Store in Sechelt. There will be plants from the members’ gardens, handcrafted goods, baking, and Mother’s Day gifts for sale. The Thrift store will also be open for business.

The Roberts Creek Arts Festival is planning a new venue for this year. Planned for May 16 and May 17 the event will be held totally at the Roberts Creek Hall, the Elphi Lodge Stage and outside area around the buildings. Great job done by Graham Starsage and his volunteers for this year’s 26th Annual Earth Day held last Sunday, April 26. The music was great, food excellent, great organic homemade lemonade and informative as well as interesting displays. Thanks gang I really enjoyed the afternoon.
