It is sandcastle time at Davis Bay beach! Have you been practicing?
Young and old are invited to join the fun and competition on Sunday, July 21.
The day starts early with registration at 8:30 a.m. Participants will have three hours to complete their masterpieces with the judging starting at noon.
You can register in one of three categories - family, youth and group.
The sandcastle competition will have some special additions this year.
The fun continues for spectators, competitors and visitors in Mission Point Park during the afternoon. Kids crafts, live music, vendors, food, and informative displays will be available from noon to 4 p.m. in the adjoining park, south of the beach.
The Davis Bay Community Association is excited to present both events this year thanks to generous support from local merchants. They hope to see you there.
