Eldercollege offers course preview

The Sunshine Coast community is invited to join Sunshine Coast Eldercollege for its spring course preview on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Sechelt campus of Capilano University.

The Sunshine Coast community is invited to join Sunshine Coast Eldercollege for its spring course preview on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Sechelt campus of Capilano University.

The spring course preview includes a short summary of the eagerly anticipated course and mill tour to experience first hand the energy and operationally efficient, carbon neutral Howe Sound Pulp and Paper Mill located in Port Mellon, on the Sunshine Coast. The preview will focus on the course " Howe Sound Pulp and Paper - A Good News Story."

As well Eldercollege will preview its 13 new and returning courses coming this spring for those aged 55 and older.

Eldercollege is a community of individuals aged 55-plus with a zest for learning and exploring life, as we continue to broaden our horizons into our senior years. They offer a wealth of courses and activities throughout the year to the Sunshine Coast community, most of which are available at just $40 each.
