Dr. Patrick Walden will present a lecture on climate change this Wednesday, Nov. 20 as part of the Eldercollege Continuing Education series.
The lecture will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. at the Chatelech Secondary School auditorium. Tickets for the event will be available on a limited basis to students from grades 10 to 12, Capilano Universty students, and students from Eldercollege.
Walden's lecture will be based on scientific evidence accepted by the U.N. International Panel on climate change. Walden will also examine the options of replacing much of our primary energy with renewable and nuclear energy.
This event is jointly presented by Capilano University, the Eldercollege of Capilano University and by School District 46. The lecture is part of " Earthworks" an environmental lecture and film series.
