Sunshine Coast Community Services hosted the 15th Annual Toys and Gifts presentation by the Suncoast Woodcrafters Guild on Dec. 10. About 100 beautifully handcrafted items were donated, all created by the Guild members.

RBC Gibsons branch hosted the Sunnycrest Mall, London Drugs kettle location on Dec. 11. RBC employees Anita Bullen (left) and Megan Little (right) with Darrell Pilgrim of the Salvation Army started the day as the first kettle hosts.

On Dec. 13, Kirsty Tosczak of Re/Max presented a $2,500 cheque to Paul Wagler and Claudette Hawkins, who represent the interchurch committee that is organizing a Christmas dinner on Sunday, Dec. 22.

Yoga by the Sea presents Winter Solstice Sound Journey, an improvisational ode to the turning of the seasons, Friday Dec. 20, 6:30 p.m.

Pender Harbour will be a floating festival of Christmas lights, carollers and pipers as the 55th annual Christmas Boat Parade sets off from Millennium Park at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 20.

Not to be missed – over 10,000 computer-animated lights synchronized to music. The musical/light show is organized into several 10- to 15-minute themed playlists. The address is 7625 Eureka Place, Halfmoon Bay.
