Night Skies for April

Unfortunately, it looks like we are in this thing for the long haul. We can count ourselves lucky to be where we are, in a world where we can connect remotely and have the space to get out without ever coming into contact with another soul.

In these challenging days, a sentiment that echoes through the Harbour is how very lucky we are to be here.

Our summer visitor migrant birds begin to reappear on the Sunshine Coast in mid-March. Keynote species among these early arrivals are the swallows (violet-green and tree), yellow-rumped warbler and rufous hummingbird.

Hard-working Rotary Interact Club volunteers take a break at St. Hilda’s Trivia Night fundraiser on March 7. The club sends out bouquets of thanks to all of trivia contestants, donors and volunteers, for generously supporting this event in St.

Hike for Hospice moved to new date in September

What a difference a week makes. My usual 500 words are filled with things to see and do, but I won’t be posting any events this week.
