'Faye was a caregiver to many seniors over the years. She was addicted to snail mail and greeting cards for over sixty years. She loved butterflies, rainbows and hummingbirds. She resided at Royal Reach for the past 20 years as a recluse and a hidden hoarder.'

1943-2023 Betty-Anne Rose Pap (née Hourigan), born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1943 to Martin Patrick Hourigan and Lillian May Hourigan (née Upton) passed away September 9th, due to a stroke in Sechelt, BC.

'Colin was a lover of the great outdoors. He would play outside from dusk til dawn. A bird lover and unique soul that children and critters of all kinds gravitated toward.'

“Old Guys” basketball will resume at the Davis Bay School gym at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Thirty hospitals are able to buy new respiratory equipment this year with the support of donors to the TB Vets Charitable Foundation. The grant to Sechelt Hospital is part of $800,000 in funding provided by TB Vets to hospitals in B.C. and N.W.T.
