Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of November 17!
- Kisses to the shíshálh Nation and District of Sechelt for not allowing the purchase and use of fireworks this Halloween. Our dog and selves feel so relieved from this disturbing activity.
- Kisses to the staff of Sechelt Hospital. The standard of care I received was first rate. It’s a small hospital but the level of professional care is remarkable. It was the most thorough examination and treatment by a health care team I’ve experienced. I am deeply impressed and grateful.
- Special thanks, hugs and kisses to everyone, particularly Linda, who came to help me when I fell at the Sechelt Shell gas station. Thanks also to the paramedics and the Sechelt Hospital Emergency staff for the caring way they looked after me.
- Kisses to Coast Reporter for making Kicks and Kisses section digital!
- 40 hp worth of kisses to the exceptional staff of Quantum Marine for keeping this new boater’s ocean dreams alive each year. Xoxo from Prairie Girl!
- Kicks to the bus driver that ran the red light.
- Kicks to the folks that blithely leave their doggie poop baggies on local park and beach trails. Do you think the Doggie Baggie Fairy takes care of your business?
- Many kisses and blessings to the amazing B&Bs here on the Coast. The Sunshine Coast tourism thrives due to your tireless hard work. You provide a safe comfortable home to all kinds of tourists, workers, medical personnel and more. Don’t be deterred by naysayers.
- Kicks to the inconsiderate folks setting off fireworks at 1 am Halloween Night on the Ocean Beach Esplanade. You not only woke many people up but also terrified countless pets and critters.
- Thank you to Frieda’s Lotto Centre for always being so cheery professional and well stocked for every occasion! You’re the best Frieda!
- Here’s to staying hopeful that the District of Sechelt will disallow parking along dog fence on Surf Circle, as the cars effectively turn the street into a one-way hazard.
- Kicks to the empty white circles on Reed Road. You forgot to fill them.
