The temperature will drop slightly today, July 16, across the Sunshine Coast from a high of 29-C yesterday, to 25-C.
The humidex will also drop, from yesterday’s 31 to 28 and the UV index will hit 7 (high) down from 8 (very high).
According to Environment Canada, a few clouds will drift in tonight with a light wind, except near the Juan de Fuca Strait, which will experience gusts from the northwest of 30 km/h. The temperature will drop to 14 overnight, so not too hot for sleeping.
Weatherhood is calling for a high of 26-C today, with a low of 16-C overnight. According to their forecast, it looks like cooler temperatures are headed our way for the weekend, so some relief from the heat is on the horizon.
The sun will set at 9:17 p.m. tonight and rise again at 5:26 a.m.
