Backwoods Jam the biggest yet

Coast Gravity Park

Coast Gravity Park hosted a downhill race the morning of Aug. 25 with more than 60 racers. Then 20 of the top slope-style riders put on a show for the crowd without the added stress of competing. More than 500 people came to watch, making this the biggest Backwoods Jam yet. Live music was provided by Modern Terror, Sinmobile, Skraeling and Fir, and a beer garden was sponsored by Tapworks and Brickers. Food was provided by Coastal Catering Chef Services, Jawny Montgomery. Big sponsors of the event were Coast Gravity Park, Off The Edge Bike Shop, Tapworks, Hemstreet Contracting and Midway Powerline Service Ltd. Other sponsors included Sunshine Coast Credit Union, Chromag, Brickers, Claytons, Southcoast Ford and many more.
