Editor: Short-term rentals are an investor’s dream and a community’s nightmare. Today I learned we will be losing one more professional couple from the Sunshine Coast due to lack of, not only affordable, but any accommodation.

Editor: It is widely known that there is a housing crisis on the Coast. People of all ages including families cannot find rental accommodation. Many are being told to buy camping gear and stay in parks. This is not a crisis; it is a disaster.
