On Aug. 28, my wife visited a patient in St. Mary's Hospital.
She was informed that her friend was in room 206 and, upon arrival, found that it was the wrong room 206.
She asked for directions and finally found her friend in the other room 206 in St. Mary's Hospital.
One hopes that, should an emergency arise with a patient in either room 206, the appropriate equipment and personnel are able to get to the correct room without a delay caused by confusion about which room to attend.
I am astounded that such a potential for deadly error would be allowed in a hospital.
