I am at a loss to understand the logic behind SCRD decisions. We were told in the past that there was a Plan B for our water supply issues. Where has Plan B gone?
Why do we only rely on Chapman Lake for such a large catchment area? Tofino went dry many years ago and many municipalities took it as a warning and set up a water supply system. Why have we not done so?
As well, building permits continue to be granted throughout the Sunshine Coast when we lack water, good roads and in some areas adequate sewer systems.
Could someone please explain why we sit back and let all of this happen without any plans to rectify it?
