As another survivor of the disastrous condo fire in Gibsons on Aug. 30, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the people and merchants of our community for their support and generosity during this difficult time.
We should be very proud of our great fire departments both in Gibson and Roberts Creek who worked tirelessly and very professionally throughout the evening to contain the fire and keep it from spreading to other buildings.
I would like to give special thanks to the great team from First Response for salvaging and taking such good care of what few items are left. They made a difficult task go smoothly.
