Totally against Cowrie change

I am totally against this change and I don't see any advantage in it. Already stop signs on almost every corner have made traffic flow much slower to go through Sechelt and with the summer traffic approaching, it's only going to get worse.

Now council has decided against public, MOTI, emergency response providers and RCMP concerns and opposition to this change to push through and make Cowrie one-way.

Who are these council members working for? Have they already forgotten about what happened during the last election?

I am going to let the Sechelt Downtown Business Association (SDBA) fight and voice my opinions, if council would even let them have a say. I am going to let SDBA know that if this passes and accessing the shops and businesses in the town centre area becomes more difficult than it is already, I will be shopping elsewhere on the Coast.

For such a small town I have never seen so many stop signs and road restrictions, and now they want to compound the issue with this proposal?

With so many for lease signs in the business town centre you would think council would be more interested and busy working on filling these spaces rather than making it harder to access the business and town centre.
