Although I am not a veteran, I've been a member of this Legion. I have witnessed the support given through their charities to the areas that required their assistance. They have provided for needs at St. Mary's Hospital, care homes, the food bank, high school bursaries, cadets, kids' camps and our veterans.
It's time to help our Legion. Those of you who could offer financial or other support to further the plans for much needed seniors' housing in our community, please help by sending your donation to the Building Fund, c/o the Sechelt Legion executive.
