I was recently struck by the beauty of the garden wall along the mandala turnaround at the beach in Roberts Creek. This wall, which began as something quite controversial to some, has become to me a symbol of thoughtful consideration for the community as a whole. As one of the co-ordinators for the mandala painting, I would like to applaud this contribution to our community and personally thank the O'Brian family for creating such a beautiful backdrop to all our gatherings.
Oh, and the smell of the roses on a hot summer day.
