The forest road at the end of the 1500 block of Reed Road is a beautiful area used by many horseback riders, dog walkers and hikers. It has become an illegal garbage dump for unknown parties who have left carpets, sofas, bed springs, mattresses, green waste, with piles of household garbage and, recently, a large pile of dirty dog food cans. Apart from being an unsightly affront to our public forest, this will attract bears, coyotes and cougars, bringing them into unnecessary contact with the human users of the area.

As a community, we need to stop these few offenders from ruining this pristine area for all.
