The Chapman Creek Watershed is in question – again. It seems a direct experience of Stage 4 water restrictions and drought are not enough to call us into right relationship with water. Even when reports clearly indicate we are overstepping the boundary of our impact on the future of a healthy water supply for the Earth and her creatures (last and least human beings). The water in the watershed, lakes, oceans and streams, as well as the human body, is all one body. What we do to one affects the other. Perhaps it will be our tears that we must drink as we experience the impact of our unconscious actions.
Please communicate to the Sunshine Coast Regional District your care and call to stand for full protection of all watersheds in our community. This is not just a drinking water issue. This is about respecting the life-giving element that gives us life.
