I totally agree with Ron Qually (“Gouged at gas pumps,” Jan. 18).
We just got back from Nanaimo on Jan. 21. The price of gas was 117.9 or 118.9.
Why is ours 134.9? Gas is barged in to Vancouver Island as well as the Sunshine Coast. We also don’t pay the road taxes like the Lower Mainland.
With the prices we pay, we should have had that bypass to nowhere finished 30 years ago.
