I really enjoyed Peter Light’s article on the subject of invasive species. He had science behind him and not the scaremongering we usually hear.
I am totally against the poisoning of knotweed, especially as it was used in my neighbourhood last year just when children were picking blackberries.
If people in the U.K. are so scared about a plant, I am shocked. Let’s get this into perspective; so many things are far more life-threatening, people are hungry and homeless even in Canada.
