On being an ethical MP

In light of the allegations in election tampering, which came to light last weekend through the national media, I would suggest that you take the high road and cross the floor of parliament as soon as possible.

I believe you would truly gain some respect of many Canadians and put yourself in place to have a better chance to win your riding in the next election as either an independent or with one of the other parties, not the one you are trying to represent now.

I suggest this because I think you still need a few years to get your full government MP pension and I believe the Harper regime is not going to last much beyond 2012. I hope the real reason to cross the floor of parliament would be because you believe in Canada and our so called democracy.

If you do not do this, you will be seen as a puppet of this regime.

Bye bye career, and bye bye cushy MP pension. So, ask yourself what is best - first, for Canada, second, for your constituents, or third, for yourself?
