Another Christmas and another Nutcracker at the Raven’s Cry. There can be few towns in the province that can put on a production like this. Every year it just gets better. We love our brilliant local dancers and acrobats and the professional imports from Vancouver, but we do tend to forget that without an army of backroom staff this would not be possible – those talented people who design and make the costumes, the scenery, the hair and makeup, the special effects, the lighting, the props, the stage management and 1,001 other services, performance after performance. A big thank-you to all of them. Well done, and you can take the rest of the year off.
