Anyone who has spent the last few weeks on the Sunshine Coast should realize that we do not have a shortage of water, but rather a shortage of water storage.
We have built our infrastructure for optimal summers, a serious shortcoming.
Remember the story of the three little pigs? We need to look ahead (like the smart pig) and build reservoirs to handle the driest summers. If Australia can handle severe water shortages, surely we can manage to store enough water in this, our land of eternal rain.
