Re: “Coast police lacking in manpower,” March 4.
No government department need ever again be “short-staffed” and this includes RCMP, public works, office workers, etc.
Quotas for employment have been in use for years, the latest example being our federal cabinet with its 50 per cent men and 50 per cent women rule. Ability is no longer to be “Priority One.”
Tallness should now be the prime consideration for employment and the taxpayer will never again face this well-worn excuse.
