More hospital parking needed

I am trying to understand the concept of parking at St. Mary's Hospital.

Here you have Mental Health services located where many of the patients require services for anxiety, stress and anger issues. The parking here sure doesn't help us with these conditions. I am trying to go there to help deal with this condition I have, but trying to park elevates this stress to a whole other level.

Then I hear from staff at the hospital that when construction is finished, there will be even less parking available there. How does this concept make any sense whatsoever? More beds, more rooms, more staff, -yet less parking for these people? I have to park across the street at Extra foods, which I could be towed as I know it's for customers only. Something has to be done for parking here.

As a member of staff at the hospital and a patient of mental health services, I can understand the benefit to each side.

Hope to see that it will change after construction has finished.
