I absolutely love the bilingual names of our towns along Hwy. 101. Not only do they tell visitors that they are on Native land, the dual signs add class with a cultural element.
For those people who can’t pronounce the non-English names – perhaps it’s time to expand your vocabulary and learn a new language.
I don’t understand the mentality of those who are so against reminding us that we are fortunate to live on a land that never belonged to us. Lighten up, folks, and be thankful you live a life of freedom in such a wonderful country.
Keep the signs!
