Two questions: 1. Why are there no public garbage cans on Gibsons Way between Pratt Road and the mall? Sometimes I pick up litter and I can fill a large garbage bag from the side of the road without even going into the ditch or onto private property, stores, etc. I’d like to think that if there were cans people would use them, especially at bus stops close to fast food outlets.
2. Why are the public washrooms in lower Gibsons “Closed for the Winter”? Do local people not need to pee in the winter while enjoying the seawall or shopping or walking their dogs? This is a service that would be appreciated year round.
