My wife and I recently moved to Gibsons, purchasing a home in Upper Gibsons. We have fallen in love with this beautiful community. We spend hours walking along the ocean, both in Lower Gibsons and at Bonniebrook.
I have heard people talking about The George but know little about it.
Then in the Sept. 27 paper I saw the conceptual drawing of The George.
My first thought was: Why would anyone allow this monstrosity to be built in Lower Gibsons on the waterfront? I think that building something like this will seriously diminish the beauty of our amazing waterfront. I am shocked that this complex was given permission to be built in this location.
