Delightful festivities



Thank you, Sechelt mayor and council, for bringing Canada Day festivities closer to home. It was a delight to step outside our homes, greet our neighbours and watch the parade. And a huge thank you to all the participants, organizers and traffic control. I hope our smiling faces conveyed our gratitude.

At the same time, I need to acknowledge the Indigenous peoples of Canada, who have lived on, honoured and protected these beautiful lands long before 1867.
