Letters: Too many cars travelling to the Coast

'No one seems to even want to think or talk about the air quality we must endure - as thousands of cars drive Langdale to Powell River year, after year, after year, polluting us humans living along the Sunshine Coast of B.C.'

Coast Reporter, June 16, 2023, reports that "BC Ferries carried a record 9.4 million vehicles last fiscal year..."

Climate change is killing people and destroying our forests and homes.  

Yet, no one seems to even want to think or talk about the air quality we must endure - as thousands of cars drive Langdale to Powell River year, after year, after year, polluting us humans living along the Sunshine Coast of B.C. 

Boggles the mind.
