Re: Resident priority on Ferries requires provincial action

After reading reference to Rob Fleming’s stance regarding resident priority on ferries in the article published Dec. 23: “ ...and he stated that the ferry service is for everyone and seemed reluctant to give priority to only some ferry users,” I have the following thoughts/questions.

I’m wondering how Mr. Fleming would feel if the access to his neighbourhood was restricted to only certain times of the day and then when those times are open, would he be okay if all the other users not living in his neighbourhood prevented him from getting home?

Would Mr. Fleming then understand that he could miss getting home at a decent hour, miss appointments, etc. just because users of his access may just be passing through or vacationing but he is actually being prevented from getting to his home?

Something to ponder for sure....
