Huge thanks to the four paramedics from Sechelt who came over to South Thormanby last Saturday to attend to one of our summer residents. He needed to be taken to Sechelt Hospital after being stung multiple times by wasps after accidentally stepping on their nest.
The paramedics were on scene within 50 minutes of the call to 911. It takes me about 40 minutes to do the same trip.
We were all very impressed with the quick response time.
