Let's get on with the job

It would be a disaster if Sechelt did not get funding for an expanded sewer plant.

For the sake of hundreds of residents who live around our over-burdened system, to hear residents of Halfmoon Bay decrying process and products must be a bitter pill. It is not for a neighbour to be more than an observer, maybe say their piece and then back off. It becomes something ridiculous and cynical when it turns to dirty politics and misinformation.

I am confident that the mayor and council have the support of the community that is directly involved. Others should get out of the way so our community can reap the benefits of funding, employment, improved standard of living and a cost-effective approach for our times. Arguing every possible scenario is the formula for no growth that got this council elected.

No one said it would be easy or without a peanut gallery, so let's get on with the job.
