Re: Ad from the Sunshine Coastal Environmental Sustainability Society (Coast Reporter, Jan. 15).
The title of the ad is: "A new watchdog group for the Sunshine Coast." Here is a group that hides behind the anonymity of an email address. A group that makes near slanderous allegations regarding our local public servants. A group that hints that they have a better, faster answer than through the democratic process. A group that clearly demonstrates in the text of the ad that they do not understand provincial or local government structure.
No thank you, "Success" for the dubious offer in your ad. Most of us would prefer to debate our differences in the clear light of day and work through hard-won democratic process to realize our goals and ideas.
Stay in the dark of anonymous ads, or come join the rest of us in legitimate debate.
