Surely the Sea Cavalcade team must be joking in their announcement that the fireworks will be held on Sunday night.
Hmm, let me think. They must have said to themselves, "Let's have the main attraction after all the tourists and the visitingfamilies, friends and workersfrom Vancouver have gone home on the last ferry. Nobody has tried that before. And what a wonderful way to deter tourists and keep our lovely town to ourselves."
Bah, humbug! Or maybe I'm just having a bad dream.
