Re: “Tax dollars for tree stumps,” (letter by Doug and Sylvia Hockley, April 1).
Agreed art is in the eyes of the beholder. However, given what our hard-earned tax dollars do or do not buy, is this not the now ex-councillor Hockley who wanted to spend a whole lot more of our hard-earned tax dollars than this to implement a one-way main street, with all its adverse accoutrements, in Sechelt?
Seems spending taxpayers money is in the eye of the beholder as well.
