Editor:
A couple of weeks ago I asked one of my daughters in Seattle to mail me a card addressed to me, at my street address, but instead of the usual “Roberts Creek, B.C.” to write “xwesam, Shashalh Nation, V0N 2W6.”
It arrived yesterday in my mailbox.
A statue has been toppled in my mind.
I no longer feel the need to repeat words I no longer wish to say.
