I want to thank everyone at Coast Reporter, especially staff writer Jenny Wagler who first brought it to our attention, for helping us in Davis Bay and Sechelt. It is great that in our small community we can work things out this way with out anyone going to jail.
Mayor Darren Inkster was talking to us the whole time as well as other council members and setting up meetings so we could get our message across. It took awhile, but in the end he could see our passion for the sea wall and the many people that it would affect. We have a great town council in Sechelt and a great partner on the Sunshine Coast in Coast Reporter newspaper.
